Call for Youth: Join the Digital Skills for Employment Program in Nyaruguru

 Nyaruguru District in collaboration with the Digital Opportunity Trust Rwanda (DOT Rwanda), is organizing a youth training program aimed at equipping youth, especially those who are unemployed, school dropouts, or with low education levels, with skills under the Digital Skills for Employment Program (DSEP PROGRAM).



This training program will be conducted in various sectors across Nyaruguru District, starting with the sectors of Busanze, Nyabimata, Muganza, Munini, Rusenge, Mata, and Kibeho, and will continue to other sectors in phases.

The program will involve:

  1. Business Coaching – guiding youth who already have income-generating activities or business ideas to grow them sustainably.

  2. Digital Skills for Small Business Management – equipping them with digital tools and skills to run their small businesses.

After the training, selected youth who show a high level of engagement and potential in developing their businesses will be supported further to scale up their income-generating activities.

Conditions for Participating in the Training:

  1. Must be unemployed youth aged between 18 and 35.

  2. Must have at least a national ID.

  3. Must have an existing small business or be planning to start one with at least a small income (Rwf 70,000/month and above).

  4. Young women and youth with disabilities will be given priority.
