Job Role

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing, reconciling, and analyzing accounting records and financial reports for the ICRC delegation/structure in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily payments in KES/USD to staff, suppliers, and workers

Prepare daily cash reports and cash requests

Verify and clear working advances and cash transactions

Support payroll with telephone deduction data

Register payments and suppliers in ERP systems

Ensure documentation is correctly filed for processing

Requirements

CPA Part II or a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

3 to 5 years of experience in a finance role

ERP and strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent English (French is a plus)

Experience with NGOs or international organizations is an advantage

Attention to detail, high integrity, flexibility, and independence
